Lifetime Activities will not offer Aquatic, Gymnastic or Martial Art classes after this fall semester.
No prior experience needed for this beginners class, which is an introduction to Basic Traditional Chinese Kung Fu. The class will focus on conditioning, stance, traditional drills in blocking, punching, and kicking. Material presented will include both hard and soft, open hand and animal styles. Possible advancement 3 levels towards a black belt.

Kung Fu Instructor: Allan Embrey MA LPC
Allan is a Masters Level Family and Marriage Counselor, who is focused on helping others find ways to improve the quality of their lives. He has been studying Chinese Shaolin Kung Fu with the Chinese Shaolin Center, for over 25 years. Allan is a second degree Black Belt who has studied under 7th Degree Elder Masters David and Sharon Soard at the Chinese Shaolin Center, based in Denver, Colorado, which was founded under Grandmaster Sin Kwang The', a 10th degree Black Belt.
Allan lived and studied for two years in mainland China, in Xian, the last ancient walled city. He studied Tai Chi, and Ba Gua, specifically, as well as, Kung Fu, Chinese culture, history and philosophy, from several teachers across China. While in China, he was employed as a professor at the Xian Foreign Language University, where he taught Tourism, Business and English. He was able to travel extensively throughout China, which included, areas of historical importance in the development of Kung Fu, like the original Shaolin Temple.
