Tae Kwon Do - Advanced
Tae Kwon Do is a dynamic martial art that compliments all aspects of fitness as well as self-defense. Its emphasis on long, high, powerful kicks and precise movements help the body go through dynamic physical change. Practicing Tae Kwon Do gives you mental and physical awareness as well as a great means of self-defense.
This class builds upon the skills learned in beginning Tae Kwon Do

Carl Stafford, a senior at WVU, started boxing in the eighth grade. He began practicing martial arts at WVU as a freshman under the instruction of Toney Artice. Carl is currently a Brown Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and is eligible to test for his Black Belt in April of 2018. He has been a TA under Toney Artice for the past year and mentors his fellow students in the WVU Martial Art programs.
